According to insiders, the improved version of the PlayStation 5 will be based on a processor with a video gas pedal AMD on the architecture Zen2 codenamed Viola. The processor will have a frequency of 4.4 gigahertz versus 3.5 gigahertz of the current PS5.
Also from the disclosed specs, it appears that the PlayStation 5 Pro will come with AMD’s XDNA2 neural processor. The chip will be responsible for scaling content: in particular, it will provide image transmission in 4K resolution at 30 frames per second.
Most likely, PS5 Pro will receive 16 gigabytes of GDDR6 RAM. The console’s performance will increase from 10.28 to 28.67 teraflops.
